ActiMaris OROPHARYNX Spray is intended for inflammation, infections and wounds of the mucosa of the mouth, pharynx and larynx. It decontaminates, moisturises and soothes the mucosa. It reduces swelling and relieves pain. It destroys microbes and eliminates infection. It eliminates bad breath. Also suitable after surgical procedures. In the case of damage to the mucosa, it supports its healing and speeds up the processes of granulation and epithelialisation. ActiMaris destroys a broad spectrum of microbes – bacteria, viruses, yeasts, fungi, spores. Suitable for standalone local use as well as to support overall treatment. 100% natural product, with no preservatives or fragrance, suitable for the whole family.

Areas of use / indications

ActiMaris OROPHARYNX Spray can be used prophylactically and therapeutically for inflammation, infections and wounds of the oral cavity, pharynx and larynx, such as:

• Inflammation of the oral cavity (gums, tongue, palate)
• Acute and chronic inflammation of the pharynx and tonsils
• Acute and chronic inflammation of the larynx
• Inflammation of the pharynx and larynx caused by reflux
• Yeast infections (thrush, conditions following radiation, …)
• Dryness of the mouth and pharynx
• Bad breath
• Conditions following surgical procedures (tonsil surgery, soft palate surgery for snoring, surgery for tumour diseases, …)
• Prevention of multidrug-resistant bacteria MRSA / VRE
• Inflammation of the lower respiratory tract: the solution can be inhaled using a so-called ultrasonic nebuliser (aerosol particle size 3 to 5 μm) approximately 2 to 3 times a day as needed. To do this, carefully unscrew the cap and pour the solution into a suitable ultrasonic nebuliser. In this case, however, consult your doctor first.

<pRecommended dosage

Adults and children from 2 years of age:
4 to 5 times a day (always after approx. 4 hours) 1 to 2 sprays
Can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Small children (under 2 years) and infants:
2 to 3 times a day 1 to 2 sprays (as needed)
For small children and infants, always consult a paediatrician before use.

At the recommended dosage, the volume of 50 ml (140 μl per spray) is sufficient for treatment lasting approx. 3 weeks (approx. 360 sprays).
You cannot overdose on ActiMaris OROPHARYNX Spray, and it has no systemic effects either. After contact and reaction
with the mucosa, the solution breaks down into water, salt and oxygen. Likewise, it is not possible to develop a dependence on this solution.

Alternatively or additionally, to allow application for problems in the lower areas of the throat, or in the lower respiratory
tract, the solution can be inhaled using a so-called ultrasonic nebuliser (aerosol particle size 3 to 5 μm), (approx. 2 to 3 times a day as

Tissue tolerance and biocompatibility

ActiMaris OROPHARYNX Spray is also suitable for long-term and repeated use. It is non-irritating and gentle on tissue. Application is simple, painless, and allergy sufferers and children generally tolerate it well. You cannot overdose on ActiMaris OROPHARYNX Spray and it has no systemic effects. Long-term use does not reduce the effectiveness of the product, and no bacterial resistance develops.

How ActiMaris OROPHARYNX spray works

ActiMaris OROPHARYNX Spray is a hypertonic sea water solution with sea salt (3%) and sodium hypochlorite obtained by electrolysis from natural ingredients (NaOCl 0.2%). It contains highly purified ionised water. It has an alkaline pH. It contains no added chlorine.

On contact with the mucosa, singlet oxygen 1O2 bound in the sea salt is immediately released from the NaOCl. The hyperosmotic effect of the sea salt leads to a reduction in tissue swelling and quick relief from pain. Sea salt helps clear mucus and coatings.

Singlet oxygen has a very fast and powerful antimicrobial effect. It indiscriminately destroys viruses, bacteria, yeasts and fungi. At the same time, it releases a large amount of energy, which is important for healing – the formation of cells and the renewal of damaged mucosa (particularly after surgical procedures and in the case of wounds). ActiMaris OROPHARYNX spray, thanks to its fast and highly effective antimicrobial power, leads to quick relief from symptoms and at the same time helps prevent the spread of droplet infections.

Ionised water has the ability to carry oxygen and minerals deeper into the tissues.

An alkaline pH generally has a beneficial effect on the healing of wounds and inflammation and allows singlet oxygen to act for longer.
