ActiMaris® Sensitive Wound Rinsing and Healing Solution 300ml

ActiMaris Sensitiv cleans and disinfects the wound, reduces inflammation and supports the healing process.
It is used to compress or bathe a wound, for the mechanical cleaning of skin (e.g. with a moistened cotton swab), and for rinsing and disinfecting the oral cavity, for example in the case of mouth ulcers, candidiasis, stomatitis, gum inflammation and similar conditions.
It contains high-energy active oxygen, sea salt with 80 minerals, and ionised alkaline water.

We recommend ActiMaris Sensitiv for cleaning, rinsing, disinfecting and healing:

• acute wounds – abrasions, cuts and lacerations, blisters, chafing, burns, insect bites
• inflammatory processes on the skin and mucous membrane – acne, mouth ulcers, cold sores, infected corners of the mouth, gum inflammation, ear canal inflammation
• gum inflammation and fungal infections in the oral cavity, nasal cavity and genitals
• fresh post-operative wounds and scars
• chronic wounds – leg and diabetic ulcers, infected wounds, pressure sores
• 1st and 2nd degree burns
• catheter, PEG tube and drain entry sites

For surgical cleaning and rinsing of wounds.
For moistening dressing material and wound coverings when changing them, and for softening them if stuck to the wound.
Decontamination of the body in the case of a positive finding of resistant bacteria (MRSA, VRE)

Thanks to its properties, ActiMaris Sensitiv has been shown to:

• reduce inflammation and speed up the healing process
• painlessly clean and disinfect the wound – thanks to the oxidising effect of oxygen
• create an optimal pH in the wound, thereby aiding healing – thanks to the effect of ionised alkaline sea water
• supply oxygen and the energy needed
• reduce swelling and any wound odour
• unlike antibiotics, no resistance develops to the antimicrobial effect of oxygen

How to use ActiMaris Sensitiv solution:
For fresh acute wounds, abrasions, burns, etc.

1. First remove any coarse debris, remnants of clothing, dressings, etc. from the wound.
2. Clean and disinfect the wound with ActiMaris Sensitiv solution, i.e. pour the solution directly onto the wound, or thoroughly moisten a piece of gauze (a square) with the solution, apply it to the wound and leave it to act for 15-20 minutes.
3. To speed up healing, we then recommend applying ActiMaris Gel for healing directly to the wound (a layer of 1-2 mm) and, if necessary, covering it with a sterile dressing or plaster.
4. We change the dressing and bandages, with repeated application of ActiMaris solution and gel, as needed and depending on the condition of the wound, optimally 1-2 times a day.

When healing chronic wounds:

1. We moisten a sterile dressing with ActiMaris Sensitiv solution, apply it to the wound and leave it to act for 15 minutes. If necessary, it can be lightly covered with a bandage.
2. In the case of a serious, suppurating or malodorous wound, leave it for at least 20 minutes, or use ActiMaris Forte – solution for cleaning and healing wounds.
3. To speed up healing, we then recommend applying ActiMaris Gel for healing to the wound (a layer of 1-2 mm) and covering it with a sterile dressing.
4. We repeat the whole procedure 1-2 times a day depending on the condition of the wound. The duration and frequency of application is not limited in any way. Application should be continued until all coatings and necrotic tissue can be easily removed and the wound looks clean.
Note: in the case of dressings and coverings that are difficult to remove, we recommend moistening them with ActiMaris Sensitiv solution for at least 5 minutes so that they can be removed more easily without damaging newly formed tissue.

When rinsing and disinfecting the oral cavity:

• ActiMaris Sensitiv solution can be used to rinse the entire oral cavity, or to gargle.
• Apply approximately 1-2 tablespoons and leave to act in the mouth for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
• On contact with the mucous membrane, singlet oxygen is immediately activated, which quickly destroys viruses, bacteria and fungi.
• ActiMaris Sensitiv does not sting or burn.
• We repeat the rinses at least 3 times a day, preferably after meals.
• However, the frequency of application is not limited in any way. For a stronger effect of the oxygen and sea salt, we recommend not eating or drinking for at least 15-20 minutes after applying the solution.
• We repeat the application of the solution as needed until the problems disappear.
• Relief of the inflammation and improvement of the symptoms should be noticeable very quickly, after just a few applications.
• To enhance the effect, it is then advisable to apply ActiMaris Gel for healing wounds directly to the affected areas.
• In the case of chronic, more severe inflammation in the oral cavity, we recommend using ActiMaris Forte – solution for cleaning and healing wounds.

Note: ActiMaris is not intended for internal use. However, there is no need to worry about any adverse effects in the case of accidental swallowing – ActiMaris is a purely natural product, with no added chemicals, preservatives or stabilisers. Be aware that the solution has a salty taste.
