Properties
The lactobacilli contained in Aptobalance Pet multiply rapidly in the small intestine, where they stabilise the microflora and lower its pH. This worsens the living conditions for pathogenic bacteria to survive. Pectin protects the intestinal
mucosa. Seaweed contains high amounts of essential micronutrients.
Directions for use
Aptobalance Pet is important especially when an animal suffers from diarrhoea as a result of microbial imbalance, e.g. antibiotic treatment, a change of diet, travel and stress.

Administration and dosage:
For dogs, 1-3 scoops are given, for cats 0.5-1 scoop per day for 2-5 days. The preparation is mixed into the food, or into soured milk if the dog or cat tolerates it. Make sure that animals suffering from diarrhoea have a sufficient fluid intake, at least 0.5-1 dl/kg/day. One scoop of the preparation is equivalent to a weight of 2 g.
