Properties
Methionine is one of the amino acids that form the building blocks of proteins. In addition, in tiny amounts it takes part in chemical metabolic processes that are important for the animal's health. It is one of the essential amino acids that animal organisms cannot produce on their own and therefore must be supplied in the diet. Methionine is considered the primary deficient amino acid in home-prepared food given to pets. Therefore, sufficient methionine must be ensured by adding a complementary feed.
Biotin, as a coenzyme, takes part in small amounts in various metabolic processes involved in the conversion of proteins, sugars and unsaturated fatty acids in the body. It is needed in particular to maintain the proper function of the skin, coat and claws. It has been found that methionine supports the effects of biotin (synergistic action).
Composition:
Vitamin premix 78.6%, DL-methionine 17.1%, carrier 4.3%.
Nutrient content: Dry matter 96%, Protein 10%, Fibre 70%, Ash 3.1%, DL-methionine 175 mg/g

Administration and dosage:
Biorion is given to dogs and cats to ensure and improve the growth and proper function of the skin, coat and claws. Symptoms of biotin deficiency include, for example, a dry coat, an unhealthy appearance of the coat, lack of pigment, coat loss, dry and flaky skin, and brittle and peeling claws. The need for biotin increases during periods of growth, pregnancy and lactation. Methionine deficiency can also cause disorders of the function and appearance of the skin and coat.
