The Sergeant's collar is an antiparasitic for the treatment and prevention of flea and tick infestation in dogs . Fleas are killed within 24 hours of infestation. Efficacy against flea infestation and against tick infestation for 180 days. Use in puppies older than 12 weeks.

Composition:

Propoxurum 2.16 g, Phenothrinum 720 mg, Pyrodonum 720 mg in 1 collar (60 cm).

Characteristics:

The active substances are released from the carrier gradually. The product's efficacy lasts 180 days after opening the packaging. The active substances are barely absorbed into the body; they remain present on the surface of the skin and coat for several days.

Use:

Target animal species: dogs (medium-sized breeds).
An ectoparasitic collar for dogs; it kills ectoparasites, mainly fleas (Ctenocephalides canis, Ctenocephalides felis) and ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus Sanguineus, Dermacentor spp, Haemaphysalis spp.) for 180 days after application.

Contraindications:

Do not use in puppies under 12 weeks of age.

Adverse effects:

In exceptional cases, hypersensitivity to the substances used may occur in treated animals or in persons coming into contact with the treated animal. In such cases, seek professional medical assistance and remove the collar. It can be used in pregnant and lactating animals.

Warning:

If an allergy occurs, remove the collar from the animal immediately and wash the animal with running water and mild soap. In cats, prevent ingestion and contact with the eye mucosa. If the eye or mucosa is affected, rinse with a stream of water.
Avoid contact of the product with the eyes and mucous membranes. Do not allow children to play with the collar. If the collar comes into contact with the eyes, rinse the eyes immediately with plenty of water.
People with known hypersensitivity to pyrethroids should avoid contact with the veterinary medicinal product. In case of skin irritation and/or eye irritation, seek medical assistance. The product must not contaminate watercourses, as it may be dangerous to fish and other aquatic organisms.

Method of application:

Unwrap the packaging, adjust the collar length and fasten the collar around the dog's neck so that the collar has a 2-finger slack and cannot slip over the animal's head. Cut off the end of the collar 7 cm past the buckle. The collar must be worn permanently. If there is a high concentration of ticks in your area, you can use two antiparasitic treatments at the same time (e.g. collar + a bath in antiparasitic shampoo.). After fastening the collar, wash your hands. The collar is water-resistant and works both in motion and at rest.
