3. The amino acid compound L-carnitine supports fat breakdown by speeding up energy production from fatty acids. At the same time, it supports the development of muscle mass, which can have a positive effect on fat burning.

Feeding

Recommended feeding duration for weight loss: until the desired body weight is reached, and if necessary afterwards to maintain the desired body weight; for glucose regulation, initially up to 6 months.

For effective weight loss or to maintain an ideal weight, the recommended daily energy intake should not be exceeded. This complete dietetic food can only support veterinary treatment, not replace it. We therefore recommend consulting a vet before feeding it or before extending the feeding period. The amounts shown should be used only as a guide. The amount of food should be adjusted to your dog's individual requirements. Every dog is different, and the optimal amount of food varies considerably depending on many factors, such as age, sex, activity, metabolism and environment.
