Alavis Calming for stress relief 30 tablets

To relieve stress and nervousness in dogs and cats, a purely natural product with a fast onset of action.

The active ingredients contained in ALAVIS™ Calming:

• Thiamine: vitamin B1, which is an essential part of nutrition and is water-soluble. It acts specifically on the central nervous system, inducing calm and reducing anxiety. Under increased stress and exertion, the need for it rises. Since the body does not store this vitamin, it needs to be part of the diet.
• C3™: a patented blend – a colostrum complex. It is isolated from milk proteins – casein – and is known for its calming effects.
• L-Theanine: an amino acid which, acting directly on the brain, induces a state of deep relaxation without a feeling of drowsiness. It has a calming effect and helps to reduce stress and anxiety. It acts on the nervous system against depression and phobias. It helps to relax the mind and induce a sense of well-being through its effect on the brain neurotransmitters dopamine and serotonin.

We recommend giving it to: cats and small-breed dogs that show nervousness, hyperactivity, anxiety or that react to environmental stress, especially: during fireworks and thunderstorms, during changes of environment, during visits to the vet, when moving house or travelling, during larger gatherings or celebrations, and during stress from loneliness and boredom

Composition (per tablet):

Thiamine – 67 mg, C3™ – 11 mg, L-Theanine – 10.5 mg.

Additives: brewer's yeast, rapeseed oil, chicken liver flavour, citric acid, glycerine, natural mixed tocopherols (vitamin E), propionic acid, patented blend: maltodextrin, sodium alginate and calcium sulphate, rosemary extract, silicon dioxide, soya lecithin, vegetable oil.

Dosage:

Up to 10 kg body weight of the dog and cat, one soft chewable tablet daily. During periods of increased stress, doubling or tripling the stated dose as needed is safe. We recommend giving it half an hour to an hour before the anticipated stress.

Directions for use:

The tablets are given daily or as needed according to the recommended dosage. The tablets have a chicken liver flavour and animals take them as a treat.

The length of use is not time-limited. No serious side effects have been recorded with long-term administration.
