Main ingredients and their effects

Peptazin

• This is a hydrolysed marine peptide with effects similar to those of benzodiazepine on the hypothalamic-pituitary axis with sympathoadrenal activity. It stimulates increased levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the hippocampus and hypothalamus, which improves control of anxiety and the learning process.

L-Tryptophan

• It is a precursor of serotonin, a neurotransmitter whose function is to control behaviour and mood. Low serotonin levels have been found to be directly linked to stress, depression and aggression.

L-Theanine

• Increases levels of the GABA neurotransmitter, which is key to controlling central nervous system responses, specifically those associated with fear and anxiety. It also helps raise serotonin and dopamine levels, which reduces noradrenaline levels.

Vitamins B1, B3 and B6

• These vitamins contribute to neuron health and good brain function, reduce agitation and improve concentration. They are an essential cofactor for the production and activity of several neurotransmitters; specifically, vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) is very important for the conversion of 5-Hydroxytryptophan into serotonin.

WeCalm Tasty should be administered according to the recommended dosage. For events that cause stress, it is recommended to give it 1-2 hours before the event. The dose can be reduced once the desired effect has been achieved.
