Barny's Beta-Carotene Complex 30 Capsules

A combined dietary supplement containing hyaluronic acid, β-carotene (provitamin A), astaxanthin from microalgae, pantothenic acid, vitamin E, which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, and vitamin C, which contributes to the regeneration of the reduced form of vitamin E, to normal collagen formation and to skin function. It also contains niacin, which contributes to the maintenance of healthy mucous membranes and healthy skin.

Sunlight is one of the most important external environmental factors for human skin. It contributes to premature skin ageing and can cause unpleasant sunburn with excessive exposure. After exposure to sunlight, a large number of free radicals are generated in the upper layers of the skin, i.e. in the epidermis. Free radicals react very quickly with the antioxidants contained in the skin, which leads to the depletion of their reserves in the body.

The skin, with its individual layers, is therefore an organ that also needs nutritional support and adequate hydration. To achieve a long-lasting, healthy tan, it is important to prepare the skin well in advance. A balanced internal state of the skin and regular skin hydration can help maintain a natural, healthy tan for longer.

Astaxanthin from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis and β-carotene belong to the carotenoids, natural dyes - pigments also found in plants that act as antioxidants. β-carotene, as a precursor, i.e. forerunner and source of vitamin A, is one of the important carotenoids for the human body. The human body can produce vitamin A from this substance itself, as needed, and vitamin A, among its other functions in the body, also contributes to the maintenance of healthy skin.

Recommended daily dosage: Adults take 1 capsule daily, ideally half an hour to an hour before sun exposure. Take with plenty of water.
