Alavis MAXIMA Trau-MAX 100g Gel
ALAVIS MAXIMA is a human-grade preparation: a gel for the fast, effective relief of discomfort in muscles, tendons and joints.
It comes in the form of an easily spreadable, readily absorbed emulgel and contains the patented substance Celadrin®, made up of cetylated esters of myristic, myristoleic, palmitic and other saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. The cetylated fatty acids in Celadrin® belong to naturally occurring fats of plant origin. Fatty acids have a beneficial effect on the composition of synovial fluid, supporting its viscosity and lubricating properties and thereby helping to protect the cartilage.
The patented substance Celadrin® also systematically strengthens and moisturises cell membranes, keeping cells youthfully supple and elastic. Its composition combines two substances with similar effects. One is a cetyl derivative. Cetyl compounds have been used by the pharmaceutical industry for many years as detoxifying agents. The other component is a blend of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, particularly myristic, myristoleic and palmitic acid. This balanced composition is useful not only because it helps transport poorly water-soluble cetyl compounds, but, as the latest research shows, these components also have their own protective and physiological effect. In summary, the components of the patented substance Celadrin® are natural antioxidants that specifically block the activity of an undesirable enzyme.
Menthol is a substance found in peppermint with a mild local anaesthetic effect. The cooling sensation is caused by its ability to chemically trigger temperature receptors, thereby providing relief.
