Characteristics: A solution for external application to the skin.
Indications
Treatment and prevention of infestation by fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and ticks (Rhipicephalus spp., Dermacentor spp., Ixodes spp.) in cats. Treatment and control of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) in cats. Prevention of flea multiplication by suppressing the development of eggs (ovicidal effect), larvae and their developmental stages (larvicidal effect) developed from eggs laid by adult fleas for 6 weeks after application. Prevention and treatment of lice infestation in cats.
In ferrets: – For use against flea infestation, either fleas alone or fleas together with ticks.
– Elimination of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.) The insecticidal effect against infestation by adult fleas lasts for 4 weeks. Prevention of flea multiplication by suppressing the development of eggs (ovicidal effect), larvae and their developmental stages (larvicidal effect) developed from eggs laid by adult fleas.
– Elimination of ticks (Ixodes ricinus) The product has a lasting acaricidal effect for 4 weeks against ticks (documented by the results of experimental studies)
Use during pregnancy, lactation or laying
The product can be used in cats during pregnancy and lactation.
Use in ferrets only after the therapeutic benefit and risk have been assessed by the relevant veterinary surgeon.
Contraindications
Do not apply to kittens younger than 8 weeks and/or weighing less than 1 kg.
Do not apply to sick animals (general illness, fever) or to convalescing animals.
Do not use in rabbits because of the risk of adverse reactions, up to death.
Do not use the product in ferrets younger than 6 months
Adverse effects
Beware of overdosing.
Cats
Among the rarely occurring possible adverse reactions reported were transient skin reactions at the application site (skin peeling, local hair loss, itching, redness) and general itching or hair loss. Excessive salivation, reversible nervous signs (increased sensitivity to stimuli, depression, other nervous signs) or vomiting were also observed after use. If licking occurred, a brief period of excessive salivation may appear as a reaction caused mainly by the properties of the carrier. If you notice any serious adverse effects or other reactions not listed in this package leaflet, please report them to your veterinary surgeon.

Dosage and method of administration
One pipette containing 0.5 ml for one cat, which corresponds to the minimum recommended dose of 5mg/kg fipronil and 6mg/kg (S)-methoprene, by external application to the skin. Owing to the absence of studies on the safety of the product, the minimum interval between applications is 4 weeks.

Method of administration: Cutaneous administration. Hold the pipette upright. Tap the narrow part of the pipette and make sure the contents have remained in the main part of the pipette. Break off the tip. Part the animal's coat at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze several times so that the contents empty directly onto the skin in one spot.
Notice
It is important to ensure the product is applied to a place from which the animal cannot lick it off, and to prevent animals from licking one another after application. Bathing cats within two days of applying the product is not recommended.
Individual ticks may become attached. Therefore the transmission of infectious diseases cannot be entirely ruled out if conditions are unfavourable.
Use during pregnancy and lactation FRONTLINE Combo Spot On Cat can be applied to breeding and pregnant cats and to cats in lactation.
Overdosing with the product causes matting of the coat at the application site. However, if this appears, it disappears within 24 hours of application.

Avoid contact of the product with the animal's eyes.
Special precautions to be taken by persons administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals.
This product may cause irritation of the mucous membranes and eyes. Therefore avoid contact of this product with the mouth and eyes. Animals or persons with a known hypersensitivity to insecticides or alcohol should not come into contact with FRONTLINE Combo Spot On. Take care that the finger does not come into contact with the contents. If it does, wash your hands with soap and water.
In the event of accidental eye contact, carefully rinse the eye with clean water.
Wash your hands after use.
Do not handle treated animals and keep children from playing with them until the applied product has dried. It is therefore recommended not to treat animals during the day but early in the evening, and not to allow freshly treated animals to sleep with their owners, especially children.
Do not smoke, drink or eat while applying the product.
Storage: Do not store at temperatures above 30 °C.
