ActiMaris® NASAL Spray for Inflammation and Infections 20ml

ActiMaris NASAL Spray is intended for application to the nasal mucosa, for its healing, cleaning, moisturising and soothing. It reduces swelling and restores nasal patency. It helps clear mucus, pus and crusts. It destroys microbes and eliminates infection. In the case of damage to the mucosa, it supports its healing and speeds up the processes of granulation and epithelialisation. It has confirmed microbicidal efficacy against viruses, bacteria (including MRSA), yeasts, fungi and spores. 100% natural, with no preservatives or fragrance, suitable for the whole family.

It is effective in the following indications:

• Runny nose – infectious, vasomotor, allergic
• Infection caused by viruses, bacteria or fungi
• Acute and chronic inflammation of the nasal mucosa and paranasal sinuses
• Rhinitis medicamentosa – i.e. inflammation resulting from overuse of sympathomimetic nasal sprays and drops
• Chronic staphylococcal infection of the nasal mucosa
• Crusts on the nasal mucosa
• Associated inflammation of the eustachian tube and middle ear
• Conditions following surgical procedures in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses
• Prevention and elimination of multidrug-resistant bacteria MRSA / VRE on the nasal mucosa
• Prophylaxis of lower respiratory tract inflammation (by reducing mucus drainage) 

Recommended dosage

Adults and children from 2 years of age:
4 to 5 times a day, always 2 sprays into each nostril.
Can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Small children (under 2 years) and infants:
2 to 3 times a day, 1 to 2 sprays into each nostril.
When using ActiMaris NASAL Spray, infants and small children should not be laid on their back, but on their side. Their head sh
ould be slightly raised at the same time. For small children and infants, always consult a paediatrician before use.

In the case of stronger infections and mucous or purulent coatings on the nasal mucosa, ActiMaris NASAL Spray can be used
2 to 3 times a day, and its use combined with nasal rinsing using ActiMaris Sensitiv solution or with the application of ActiMaris Gel for wounds.
At the recommended dosage, the volume of 20 ml (100 μl per spray) is sufficient for treatment lasting 7 to 10 days (approx. 200 sprays).
You cannot overdose on ActiMaris® NASAL Spray, and it has no systemic effects either. After contact and reaction with the mucosa
the solution breaks down into water, salt and oxygen. Likewise, it is not possible to develop a dependence/addiction to this solution.

Tissue tolerance and biocompatibility

ActiMaris NASAL Spray is also suitable for long-term and repeated use. It is non-irritating and gentle on tissue. Allergy sufferers and children generally tolerate the spray application well.

You cannot overdose on ActiMaris NASAL Spray and it has no systemic effects. Its use does not lead to the development of dependence/addiction to the solution.

Long-term use does not reduce the effectiveness of the product, and no bacterial resistance develops

How ActiMaris NASAL spray works

ActiMaris NASAL Spray is a hypertonic sea water solution with sea salt (1.2%), sodium hypochlorite obtained by electrolysis from natural ingredients (NaOCl 0.04%) and hypochlorous acid (HOCl 0.004%). It contains highly purified ionised water. It has an alkaline pH. It contains no added chlorine.

On contact with the nasal mucosa, singlet oxygen 1 O2 bound in the sea salt is immediately released from the NaOCl. The hyperosmotic effect of the sea salt leads to a reduction in tissue swelling and quick relief from a blocked nose.

Singlet oxygen has a very fast and powerful antimicrobial effect. It indiscriminately destroys viruses, bacteria, yeasts and fungi. Infections of the nasal mucosa are treacherous, spreading easily to the surroundings via droplets released during sneezing and nose-blowing. ActiMaris NASAL spray, thanks to its fast and highly effective antimicrobial power, helps prevent the spread of droplet infections. At the same time, singlet oxygen releases a large amount of energy, which is important for healing – the formation of cells and the renewal of damaged mucosa (particularly after surgical procedures and in the case of wounds).

Ionised water has the ability to carry oxygen and minerals deeper into the tissues.

An alkaline pH generally has a beneficial effect on the healing of wounds and inflammation and allows singlet oxygen to act for longer.

It contains active, high-energy singlet oxygen, sea salt with minerals, and ionised alkaline water.
