Omega-3s are essential fatty acids that our body cannot produce on its own, so we must obtain them from our diet and food supplements – we need them for our body to function properly.
Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are two types of essential omega-3 fatty acids found in oily fish (mackerel, sardines, salmon, herring, trout, anchovies, tuna) that live in cold waters. Fish rich in omega-3 produce both EPA and DHA from alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which they obtain from marine phytoplankton and seaweed. Flax, hemp and chia seeds, flaxseed and hemp oil, avocado, walnuts and walnut oil are popular plant sources of ALA, but they are practically lacking in EPA and DHA.

Use and dosage
Take 2 capsules daily, ideally with a meal. Always take the capsules with a sufficient amount of liquid, ideally water.
Storage
Store in a dry place at temperatures of 5–25°C. Protect from direct sunlight, frost and moisture. Make sure the pack is properly closed. Use before the best-before date shown on the pack, or within 4 months of opening.
