Why do you need to supplement creatine?

• Creatine acts in the body as an energy reserve for muscles. You'll appreciate it both during intense intervals and prolonged performance.
• The body makes a small amount itself, and some can be obtained from meat. But that alone can hardly keep up with the demands of sport.

How does creatine work?
It's naturally drawn to tissues with high energy demands – mainly the brain and skeletal muscle. They use ATP (adenosine triphosphate) as fuel, which turns into ADP (adenosine diphosphate) once used.

The concentration present in the tissues would only be enough for a few seconds, though. That's where creatine comes in, helping to recycle the whole process. The leftover ADP is resynthesised back into ATP fuel – letting you go full-out for much longer.

Dosage

• Daily dose: 5–6 grams (approx. 2/3 of a scoop).
• Mix with 200 ml of water.
• We recommend drinking it immediately, or within 10–15 minutes at the latest, as creatine gradually breaks down.
• There's no need to stop taking it – you can use it all year round.
