PetSafe® Smart Microchip Pet Door
Using RFID technology, the door reads the microchip's unique ID without any need for an additional collar or other accessory. When your cat or small dog approaches the door, the microchip technology reads the animal's ID chip and the door opens. The door will not let in any other animals whose chip is not programmed for entry.
The microchip door is also designed with convenient 4-way manual locking, which lets you control access for programmed microchips.

This door will only work if your cat or dog is fitted with a microchip.
The door reads the most common type of microchip, DX-B (15-digit) - this is the type of chip fitted by a vet. We recommend verifying chip compatibility.
